 Ryan is the President and co-founder of ImmunoFree, a biotechnology company developing a cell therapy designed to induce immune tolerance in solid organ transplantation, with the goal of eliminating the need for lifelong immunosuppression. 

National Kidney Registry

 Ryan serves as President and Chief Operating Officer of the National Kidney Registry, the world’s largest kidney paired exchange program, which facilitates living donor kidney transplants through advanced matching technology and a nationwide network of transplant centers. 

Previous Experience

Prior to his current work in healthcare and biotechnology, Ryan held operating and investment roles across finance and energy. He began his post-military career at J.P. Morgan, working in New York and Houston as an Oil & Gas Derivatives Trader, before joining Unison Energy, a distributed power generation company, as Director of Operations. 


Ryan later served as Managing Partner of Aviano Capital, a special purpose acquisition fund backed by private equity funds and family offices, and co-founded Cell Tolerance, an early-stage biotechnology company focused on developing cellular therapies to induce immunological tolerance.
